The emotional and psychological effects of a disease like cancer is beyond description, not only for the patient, but also for their near and dear ones. Being diagnosed with cancer one fine morning is a panicky situation that can be overcome only with the support of treating physician and associated people. The least in the mind of the family will be the availability of medication to start the treatment as early as possible.

My mother, when diagnosed with AML was advised to start the treatment that included 4-6 cycles of AZACITIDINE + VENETOCLAX combination. Little did we know then that the Tab. I am a recovering cancer patient. I was diagnosed with lung cancer (Stage 3) in December 2018. As soon as I was diagnosed, on the recommendation of friends and my family doctor, I went to the Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. The first cycle of chemotherapy and radiation went extremely well and I am declared cancer free. However, because of the high risk of relapse and the need for close and careful continuous care, my doctor recommended me to undergo immunotherapy ( Inj Durvalumab), a medicine that is not manufactured in India and therefore needs to be imported.
